An email response from Dr. Tomasz Ludyga’s office

I emailed Dr. Tomasz Ludyga’s office to find out how much it costs for screening and treatment for CCSVI in Poland.  Here is the email response I received:

Dr Tomasz Ludyga is busy this day, I am obligated  to answer  to you .

To answer to you, I must explain that the diagnosis of CCSVI in patiens with SM, should be confirmed by Colour Duplex Doppler of th Jugular Veins  (Not arteries! ) or  Magnetic Resonans of Jugular or Azygos veins, or  (during the main operation) – angiography of these vessels.   If there is not any stenosis of these veins – this is no posibillity to treat (by dilatation and implantation of stents)

Before the main endovascular treatment, we also offer CDD of veins , MR, or Angiography for SM-patiens , But first, patients should contact to  our consultant-doctor, for access  to a treatment .

PRICE  LIST:

Offer for patients suffering from SM

-vascular specialist consultation with non invasive diagnostic procedure (color doppler and MRI………………………………………………………………………..300 euro

This web site allows people to submit information on doctors, but is not contact doctors for patients.

On the front page is a map. You can select the — Search By City — dropdown at the top of the map and then select one of the cities and countries like “Pszczyna, Poland” and then click Find Locations. That will bring up balloons on the map showing you where the doctors are located for Poland.

The doctors information will appear below the map. You can click on each doctor to get their full information to display on the map, or click each balloon to get the doctor’s full information to popup.

I live in Nebraska, United States and am so very interested in this procedure, I do know they are doing some testing in New York, but is there anywhere else in Nebraska that I may consult, I live near Omaha Nebraska. Thank You so very much!!
    Sincerely Yours, Janet Kouma

  • I am wondering what is the current status of non-experimental CCSVI examination and treatment situation in the US and Canada.

As we are soon going to open up a new AMEDS CCSVI Center near Warsaw, Poland, we get a lot of requests for examination and treatment from patients in the US and Canada who claim that they can not be examined and treated in their countries.

Are there any plans to change that?

    Marcin,
So far in US and Canada they are only doing clinical trails. There is both a large scale study in Vancouver B.C. in Canada and in Buffalo New York. Unfortunately there are not many people who are selected to participate in the study and if you are selected it is not guaranteed you will receive the treatment (you may be part of the control group). Additionally any others such as Stanford (U.S.) who were previously performing the operation have been shut down due to the lack of support from their university. Although it is promising that some work is being done here in North America, for those of us who are on a time limit we are eager to seek treatment in Poland, India and Australia.
I hope that in the next few years based on the results of these studies being currently conducted that CCSVI testing and the liberation procedure can be common place. However, until that time North Americans will likely continue to travel abroad for treatment.

I read that Stanford has stopped offering the treatment – I am VERY SUSPICIOUS when I think about the profits being lost by the Pharmaceutical co.’s ??

Thank you for your prompt reply. Forgive my barely legible post: my head is spinning with this mad search and your site is a great help. I did apply to Amed Centrum and got a response next day! with news of ?April progrm start. Also I should let you know that Tokuda Hospital in Sofia are publishing prices but their site although very informative seems to be corruptedwith SOFT PORN!! You Tube clips!! tagged onto their video on the Cardiology section. How?? Centrum seem to be tailor -made and costs include collection and accommodation. However no mention of risks of stents (e.g, migration) but this may be relative for people desperatefor some help. I am amazed at how well this site is set up..thankyou again and it is completely legible if one does a print preview
    :-)

  • I have read over a couple of your posts and I had been wanting to know if you wanted to swap webpage links? I am often seeking to swap links with websites on comparable themes! I look forward to hearing back from you before long.

  • The CCSVI Liberation Treatment could be the cure but fact remains that the rate of re-occlusion is stuck at 50% and MS patients being treated in the European and Asian countries end up suffering as they did, 3 months ago. While Big Pharmaceutical Corporations and governments in the US and Canada are coming up with new ideas to stop any advancements to the CCSVI theory (Like the superbugs, etc.), millions continue to travel to countries like India and Poland to get this simple procedure and no valuable data is recorded to support the CCSVI theory. Unless we get our position strong enough to support the CCSVI Theory, we will never be able to beat the Pharma Corporations or start the treatment here and many will keep suffering and dying even after having the procedure done. I lost my elder brother last month because of a blood clot in his stent. He got liberated 5 months ago in Poland. We need to prove to the government that this works. Non-profit organizations like the CCSVI Clinic http://www.ccsviclinic.ca/ are tirelessly working to develop safer protocols with teams of world renowned surgeons even though they are feeling the negative pressure from you know who. This Atlanta based Organization has started Clinical Trials for CCSVI and we need to support these groups because they are our only hope to fight for the truth. Without the valuable data that they are collecting offshore, the procedures will not be allowed here, in our own countries.
